Chico Flores just got Swansea City fans very excited with his latest social media post

Swansea City fans have regularly taken to social media to reminisce about the good times during the course of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Jack Army - as with other football fans from around the world - have been starved of action for more than a month following the postponement of the beautiful game.

Swansea players past and present have been joining in with the fun online, with many sharing images of their most iconic career moments.

Chico Flores is no different.

The Spanish defender shared four stunning pictures from his days at SA1 on Twitter in a bid to lift the mood of the Swansea faithful.

After seeing the wonderful memories, fans interacted with his tweet.

One fan asked: "Will you ever return to the Liberty to watch a game? YJB."

And the Spaniard's response had fans licking their lips.

"I'm not coming back to watch a game," he wrote on Twitter.

"I will come back to play again with Swansea!"

It was undoubtedly a welcome response, particularly as the Spanish centre-back is fondly remembered by those at the Liberty Stadium.

His first campaign at Swansea was a special one, with Michael Laudrup's troops qualifying for the Europa League after winning the League Cup for the first time in their history.

The Spanish defender moved to South Wales from Mallorca in 2012 and made 75 appearances during his two seasons with the Swans, scoring four goals.

He left in 2014 to join Qatari outfit Lekhwiya and currently plays for Madrid-based side Fuenlabrada.
