Chicken 'kicked to death' by two teenage boys on farm in Nottinghamshire village

Police are appealing for information after a chicken was allegedly kicked to death by two teenagers at a farm in a Nottinghamshire village.

The attack was witnessed by staff at Oakham Farms, in Walesby, north of Ollerton.

The two teens ran off before they could be detained by staff at the farm, who witnessed the attack.

Nottinghamshire Police said one chicken was killed by the teenagers after being "violently kicked."

Police investigating say this is not the first time this has occurred but it's the first time that staff have witnessed the violent act.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A statement on Sherwood Police's Facebook page said: "If you have any information on this crime, please report it on 101 and quote incident 554-11082019."
