Chicken Curry Pizza is one of the most 'complimented' dishes on the menu for one South Dublin restaurant.
North Wood Fired Pizza in Sandyford is the creator of a Chicken Tikka Pizza, combining two beloved hangover foods into one. Does it work? Many of their customers seem to think so.
Despite being an unexpected combo, a picture posted to the restaurant's Instagram account makes it look fairly appetising.
The restaurant's "second hand man" Adam revealed to Dublin Live that it is one of the most highly-reviewed items on their menu.
He said, "The manager wanted to create something unique combining two different countries; India and Italy. It's very nice."
Adam explained that the Chicken Tikka Pizza isn't the most popular dish on the menu but when people order it, they tend to order it a second time. He recalled one incident where the restaurant accidently delivered it to a customer when they had ordered a different pizza, but they enjoyed it so much that they never complained.
Made up of their homemade Tikka Masala sauce, chicken and fresh spring onions, it is now available for both collection and delivery through North Wood Fired Pizza's website for €13 (medium) or €15.75 (large).
