Chick-fil-A loses top spot as America’s favorite fast food chain

  • Jersey Mike's Subs has overtaken Chick-fil-A as America's top-rated quick-service restaurant in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's annual study.
  • Chick-fil-A's 11-year reign as the leading fast-food chain concluded, despite the company maintaining a high customer satisfaction score of 83.
  • Jersey Mike's achieved a score of 84, with the study attributing its success to freshness, food variety, value and an efficient business model.
  • While no longer the overall leader, Chick-fil-A remains the highest-rated restaurant within the chicken category.
  • McDonald's and Dairy Queen were ranked at the bottom of the customer satisfaction index, both receiving scores of 72.
