Chicago Tribune reporter carjacked

CHICAGO _ A Chicago Tribune reporter was carjacked as she sat parked outside a Dunkin Donuts in the Bridgeport neighborhood early Monday.

The reporter, 29, was inside the car in a parking lot in the 700 block of 31st Street when two males approached around 2:30 a.m., according to the reporter. One of them tapped on the driver's side window and told her to get out.

The reporter got out of the late model Malibu, and the two robbers got in and sped off on 31st Street. She was not injured and told police she did not see a weapon.

No one was in custody.
