June 09--McDonald's has hired President Barack Obama's former White House spokesman, Robert Gibbs. He's the perfect choice to neither confirm nor deny whatever may or may not be going on.

Gibbs, McDonald's new global chief communications officer, was press secretary for Obama's first two years as president. Obama has said his administration's failure to communicate in a way that would give Americans "a sense of unity and purpose and optimism" in those years was "the mistake of my first term."

Suburban police say an Uber driver, responding to a rock hurled at his vehicle, allegedly fired a gun in the direction of several passengers, including the one he believed threw it. Sounds like "the Chicago way" Sean Connery described in "The Untouchables." Unfortunately this was Rolling Meadows.
