June 03--Responding to Illinois' financial mess, Gov. Bruce Rauner has ordered there be no economic incentives offered to lure new businesses here. Frankly the financial mess and lack of leadership already eliminated most incentive for anyone to move here anyway.

The wholesale price of grocery store eggs hit an all-time high this week because of bird flu. Commodities traders who took a bath because they failed to anticipate this must have nothing on their face.

Taco Bell confirmed reports that a Wicker Park location opening this summer will be its first to serve alcohol. The goal is to keep customers from sobering up and realizing they're at Taco Bell.
