Feb. 06--As TV pilot season gears up, at least two projects will be filming in town next month, according to Rich Moskal of the Chicago Film Office.

The NBC drama "Love is a Four Letter Word," from Diana Son, centers on three married couples. Per the Hollywood Reporter, the show will explore "what happens when race, sexuality and gender roles collide when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test.

The Fox drama "Runner," executive-produced by "thirtysomething" co-star Peter Horton, is based on a Turkish series about arms dealers.

"It centers on Lauren Marks who, after a simple twist of fate, learns that her husband is not the person she believed him to be," according to Deadline. "Faced with the harsh reality that her life is forever changed, she goes on a truth-seeking journey that entrenches her in a U.S./Mexican war over weapons and terrorism."

Both series are produced by 20th Century Fox Television, which is the same studio behind Fox's hit "Empire."

Shooting is expected to begin sometime in mid-March at Cinespace. More pilots may be coming to town this spring, but so far just these two are confirmed.
