Chicago Trib goes tabloid

The Chicago Tribune, one of the flagship titles owned by the struggling Tribune Company, is to launch a tabloid version of its paper next week. Newsstands and retail outlets will offer the tabloid while the broadsheet version will continue to be delivered to homes. The Tribune's rival, the Chicago Sun-Times, is already tabloid-shaped.
