A Chicago man and woman are facing charges in connection with the death of a missing teenage girl whose body was found over the weekend in an alley in suburban Oak Park.

Sergio Hernandez, 40, of Belmont Central, is charged with sexual assault, aggravated sexual abuse and concealment of death, Oak Park police said. Joslia Williams, 18, of Austin, is charged with child pornography and concealment of death.

The 15-year-old girl’s body was found about 8:30 a.m. Aug. 7 in an alley in the 200 block of North Taylor Avenue, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The cause and manner of her death was pending toxicology reports from the Cook County medical examiner’s office, police said.

The girl, from Chicago, had been reported missing to Chicago police that day, Oak Park police said.

Hernandez and Williams were each being held on $500,000 bail, police said.

Anyone with information was asked to call Oak Park police at 708-386-3800.
