A 31-year-old Pilsen man died in a rollover crash Sunday evening on the Jane Addams Tollway near Schaumburg.
Dennis La was driving east near Roselle Road when he veered to the right shoulder, up an embankment and struck a concrete structure, Illinois State Police said in a statement.
His Honda Accord rolled onto its roof shortly before 7 p.m., state police said. La was pronounced dead at the scene.
It wasn’t immediately clear why his car veered off the road.
Three lanes of the tollway were shut down until 10:30 p.m. for an investigation, state police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office said he lived in Pilsen on the South Side.
