Last weekend was the most violent in the US city of Chicago so far this year.
Police say 52 people were shot, 10 of them fatally, from Friday night to midnight on Monday.
Chicago remains the most dangerous major city in the country.
Since 2001, more Americans have been killed here than in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
