
The Bears will add speedy wide receiver and returner Ted Ginn on a one-year deal, a source said Thursday.
Ginn, a 13-year veteran who turned 35 this month, was productive offensively for the Saints last season. He had 30 catches for 421 yards and two touchdowns.
The Dolphins drafted Ginn ninth overall in 2007, and he played three seasons for them. He has was also with the 49ers (2010-12), Panthers (2013 and ‘15-16) and Cardinals (2014) before going to the Saints.
Over three seasons with the Saints, Ginn put up 100 receptions, 1,417 yards and eight touchdown catches. He has not been a regular punt or kick returner since 2017.
