Saturday’s deadline has passed, and the Chicago Bears’ roster stands at 53 players to start the regular season.
Ryan Pace made 37 moves so far, but he might not be done assembling the squad that hosts the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
His scouts evaluated every player released by every team over the weekend, and they could opt to add more talent from the outside and release another player or two from the initial 53.
For now, the team starts with six inside linebackers and only four outside linebackers.
