Chicago Bears fans got so excited hearing that kicker Robbie Gould wants to be traded

Chicago Bears fans have some issues when it comes to talking about kickers. Mostly because of how their season ended last year.

They still might not be over Cody Parkey’s kick being partially blocked before doinking off the goalpost in their playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was a rough loss, after all.

Parkey has since been kicked to the curb and on Tuesday Bears fans heard some news about an ex of theirs wanting to be traded. Yup, former Bears kicker Robbie Gould has requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, as he wants to be closer to his wife and kids in Chicago.

Well, Chicago is close to Chicago and Bears fans apparently would be more than happy to start thing over again with Gould, who spent his first 12 years with the Bears.
