Chhavi MIttal was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of months back. Since then, the brave lady has withstood the surgery and radiation therapy with a rock-solid heart. Now, Mahima Chaudhry has been diagnosed with a similar ailment; this morning she put out a tearful video, wherein she was seen answering Anupam Kher's questions. See the video below:
But did you know that Mahima and Chhavi have been friends? While talking to Chhavi this morning, we learned that she and Mahima go back a long way. "I am shocked beyond words. I knew Mahima before I became a mother. She is a very chirpy and joyful person in life. Her news brings tears to my eyes," Chhavi said, her voice quivering with emotion. "I wish Mahima lots of luck and love. I know it's contradictory but it's a blessing to find out such a thing early. The struggle with cancer is not the cancer itself, it's the scars that are left on body and soul," Chhavi added.

Chhavi has reached out to Mahima. "I texted her. The worst is over. it's going to be behind both of us soon, sooner than we know it," Chhavi concluded.
