Chhattisgarh: Two robbed at knife point in Bilaspur

RAIPUR: Three miscreants threatened and robbed two people who were on a bike coming from a wedding in Bilaspur. The police registered a case on the complaint of the youth and started the search for the robbers. The incident took place in the Koni police station area.

The victim Mukesh Khare, a resident of Semartal who is a farmer was with a friend Sanjay Raghuvanshi and they had gone to Limtara in the Masturi area to attend a relative’s wedding on Tuesday night. After attending the wedding ceremony, both were returning to Semartal in the wee hours around 3.30 while they had just reached Ramtal on the Sendri-Mopka road, three miscreants intercepted their way.

The trio started threatening and one of them also attacked with a knife. Meanwhile, the thieves robbed their mobile phones, and the key to the bike and fled away. Afterwards, both Mukesh and Sanjay reached a nearby village on foot somehow. The duo reached Koni police station on Friday and registered a case.
