RAIPUR: With the aim of enhancing connectivity in tribal areas of Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and dedicate several rail projects at Jagdalpur, the divisional headquarters of tribal Bastar, on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister will also address a public rally and dedicate Nagarnar Steel Plant to the nation.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the new rail line connecting Antagarh and Tadoki. Additionally, a double rail line project between Jagdalpur and Dantewada will be dedicated to the nation.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the doubling of the Surajpur railway line from Boridand. Under the Amrit Bharat Station Plan, he will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of the Jagdalpur station. Prime Minister Modi will symbolically initiate the Raipur-Demu train service from Tadoki, marking the commencement of direct train service between Tadoki and the state capital, Raipur.
The Prime Minister will dedicate the newly constructed 17.65-kilometer rail line in the Dallirajhara-Raoghat section of Tadoki, which was completed at a cost of Rs 272 crore. This line will provide efficient and cost-effective transportation to the tribal belt of Chhattisgarh, fostering tourism and facilitating the transport of iron ore from resource-rich areas to steel plants.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the doubling of the Surajpur railway line from Boridand. This 79-kilometer-long project, costing Rs 775 crore, will improve rail transportation and contribute to social and economic development in the region. It will also make coal transportation from nearby areas to other parts of the country more accessible.
