Chhattisgarh assembly polls: BJP launches Ghoshnapatr Sujhav Abhiyan

RAIPUR: Barely three months ahead of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, opposition BJP in Chhattisgarh has launched its ‘Ghoshnapatr Sujhav Abhiyan’ (suggestion for manifesto campaign) on Thursday. The campaign is aimed at gathering suggestions directly from the public.

The party workers with suggestion boxes in their hands are set to collect suggestions from villages, households, and constituents throughout the state. In an effort to reach every corner of society, the campaign will leverage various channels, including email and WhatsApp, to gather valuable input from citizens.

A key message of the campaign is to convey that the BJP is committed to working in alignment with the aspirations of the people of Chhattisgarh.

BJP state president Arun Sao has appealed to the residents to actively partake in shaping the party's manifesto by contributing their ideas and suggestions.

Former MP and BJP manifesto committee convener Vijay Baghel emphasized the significance of farmers in the nation's framework and stressed that the party acknowledges their pivotal role. He reassured that the party would continue to fulfill farmers' dreams by incorporating their suggestions.

BJP Chhattisgarh in-charge Om Mathur highlighted the party's unique approach of soliciting public input for policy formulation, a practice the BJP has followed since 2003, he added. He stressed that BJP workers would interact closely with the public to craft its manifesto for Chhattisgarh.

This campaign aims to bridge the gap between the party and the public, ensuring that policies and actions align with the needs and desires of the citizens. Through this initiative, the BJP intends to create a more inclusive and participatory political discourse in Chhattisgarh, he said.
