Cheshire Oaks restaurant to show Clifford the Big Red Dog before it's out in UK cinemas

A Cheshire Oaks restaurant is offering families to the chance to see a new movie before it even hits the cinema screens.

Ed's Easy Diner has reportedly partnered with the Paramount's latest comedy adventure, Clifford the Big Red Dog, to offer an exclusive preview of the film in the restaurant, according to ChesterStandard.

The new film adaption of the classic children's cartoon will be played on the Wednesday December 1, nine days before the film officially comes out in UK Cinemas on December 10.

Those eager to see the new film should head to Ed's Easy Diner this month and fill out one of the Clifford themed activity sheets while they dine.

While watching the family-friendly comedy which stars Jack Whitehall, guests can choose from the likes of a BBQ cheese and bacon footlong hotdog or fried chicken and waffles drizzled in pure Canadian maple syrup to tickle their tastebuds.

Alternatively, guests can choose to go for one of Ed's popular milkshakes such as Oreo or Banana as they watch the story of Clifford unfold.

The movie shows a middle schooler, named Emily Elizabeth, meeting a magical animal rescuer who gives her a little red puppy.

However, Emily never anticipated waking up to find a giant, 10-foot hound in her small New York City apartment.

With her single mother away on business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle set out on an adventure that takes a bite out of the Big Apple.

It is thought the Cheshire Oaks venue is also launching its Big Red Menu from November 24.
