Cheshire Oaks Christmas lights switch on 2019 and fireworks display

Cheshire Oaks has revealed that it will be hosting one of its most glamorous Christmas light switch-on events to date for 2019.

For one night only, McArthurGlen Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet will present Cirque - a Greatest Showman-inspired performance which is set to take place on Wednesday 6 November.

Guests will be dazzled by the curious circus themed performances from contortionists to fire performances, all accompanied by music from the nation’s favourite film. Finally finishing off the show with a magical display of breathtaking fireworks.

City Radio Breakfast presenters Leanne Campbell and Dave Kelly will be hosting the opening event from 18:45, guests will be invited to head down, enjoy the music and welcome in the Christmas season with the official light switch on at 19:45.

This year will see the return of Britain’s tallest and Europe’s largest North Pole themed artificial walk-in tree. Adorned with Christmas lights as well as magical snowfall, it is the perfect photo opportunity for the whole family to enjoy. 

For younger guests, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Cheshire Oaks welcomes them to meet Santa at his magical throne, accompanied by his elves during November and December.

Dates include every Saturday in November between 10:00 and 14:00 and every Saturday and Sunday during December from 11:00 to 13:00.

Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with Santa at Comptoir Libanais every Saturday and Sunday during December from 09:00 to 10:00.

Cheshire Oaks will have its own Christmas market (Cheshire Oaks)

Santa and his elf will visit each table with a Christmas chocolate gift and offer children a time to discuss their Christmas wishes and have their picture taken with Santa. Booking for breakfast with Santa is necessary, tickets are available to purchase for £8 for adults while kids eat free. For more information and mandatory booking click here.

The Winter Village Christmas Market will be the perfect place for guests to finish off an afternoon at the centre.  From the treat shop where guests can enjoy warm refreshments such as coffee, crepes and doughnuts, to a ride on the traditional Christmas carousel.

Warm up in the outdoor heated Christmas rustic pergolas and snugs, finished with cosy fairy lights and comfy seating, this is the ideal place for families and friends to congregate and enjoy time together.
