Cheryl 's ex-boyfriend Tre Holloway is engaged to marry a stunning American dancer six years after splitting from the pop star.
The former Girls Aloud singer dated dancer Tre for around a year before they parted ways in 2013.
Mirror Online can now reveal he has popped the question to his stunning girlfriend, Aja DePaolo, in August.
Aja is also a dancer and was most recently part of Britney Spears' Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas.
Tre spent months planning the magic moment, hiring a videographer to capture it all on came and even flying in Aja's friends and family so they could celebrate with the happy couple.
A source said: "He told her she was going for brunch with her aunt and then surprised her by proposing at the top of the Ferris Wheel at the beach.
"She then was greeted by loved ones holding sunflowers. It was a magical day and Aja was over the moon."
Tre has called Aja is "soul mate", "best friend" and "partner in crime".
He was with Cheryl for around a year, dating her before she got together with her second husband, French businessman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
She previously said of the relationship: "I look for someone with a personality, charm and connection....
"You are experiencing a really intense relationship…
“There’s an intensity, there’s a trust, there’s a love – a genuine love. He is very experienced in what he is doing. He is a ridiculously talented character.”
After the break-up in 2013, Tre insisted there were no hard feelings between the pair.
He said: "She’s an amazing person, an amazing woman, and we are good friends."
While Tre went on to find true love after his split from Cheryl, the singer has not been so lucky.
After marrying Fernandez-Versini in 2014 after just three months of dating, the marriage collapsed after 19 months and ended in divorce.
Cheryl went on to strike up a romance with toyboy Liam Payne, giving birth to a son with the singer before that relationship also ended.
She's now believed to be single and focusing on being a good mum to son Bear.
