Cheryl looks worse-for-wear as she lets her hair down at Gatsby-themed gala

Cheryl's always a vision.

Yet the singer, 36, looked bleary eyed on her exit from the Borne Charity's Wonderland on The Orient Express Gala Dinner at Freemason's Hall on Wednesday.

The Fight For This Love hitmaker let her hair down on a rare night out as she spent time away from her two-year-old son Bear, whom she shares with her ex Liam Payne.

In 1920s style, the songstress was dressed for the glamorous occasion in a black dress covered in glitter and a faux fur jacket.

Cheryl decorated her beauty with a string of beads around her neck and she painted on heavy make-up to ensure she was the belle of the ball.

The mother-of-one nailed the 1920s theme by arranging her chestnut-coloured locks in a chignon style.

It comes after The Greatest Dancer coach recently confessed she refused to be parted with her son while they were in hospital.

Cheryl divulged her "irrational" fear Bear would be swapped at birth in the hospital ward and she would go home with the wrong child.

She said: "When I had him, first of all I wouldn't let the doctors take him out of the room.

"I read this story about two girls being swapped at birth and it was playing on my mind. I was so irrational...I didn't want anyone to take him."

Things ended between Cheryl and Liam in 2018 after the couple had embarked on a romance years earlier in 2015.

But recently, her ex Liam shared Cheryl was the "most important person" in his life as he rubbished any claims they had bad blood.

The One Direction star admitted being a young dad "messed" him up when he chatted honestly in his upcoming documentary Ant Middleton and Liam Payne: Straight Talking.

He said: "Becoming a dad at such a young age, it's such a difficult thing.

"And I think I built fatherhood up so much in my head that it kind of messed me up to start with. I started in a bad place with it...

"She's one of the most, if not the most, important people in my life. I'm lucky I have someone who understands what I'm going through."
