Cheryl left red-faced by mistake on Love Made Me Do It hoodies

Cheryl has been left embarrassed after promoting her official merchandise - which features a grammatical error.

Her white cropped Love Made Me Do It sweatshirts are being sold for £44.99 on the singer’s website, and are printed with lyrics from the chorus of the singer’s comeback single.

However, the line which should read “Love made me do it (it wasn’t my fault)” has been printed as “it was’nt my fault” with a misplaced apostrophe.

Luckily for Cheryl fans, the hoodie is also available in heather grey and black, and these colourways do not appear to feature a grammar slip-up.

The singer posted a photo of herself wearing a similar style on Instagram, pairing the merch with a pair of combat trousers and heeled boots. She captioned the image with a kissing face emoji and the words: “I got cute hoodies. Link in bio if you wanna check them out.”

Her official merchandise store responded to the error on Twitter, writing: “Hi guys! We’re aware some people have noticed a grammar mistake on one of our lyric hoodies online.

“We want to reassure everyone that nobody has been sent a product with the mistake, that the supplier has the correct artwork and that we’re currently fixing the store preview!"

Cheryl and Michael B Jordan spark romance rumours during Graham Norton Show appearance

The singer is yet to comment on the mistake.

Touted as a comeback for the former Girls Aloud star, Love Made Me Do It entered the chart at number 19 when it was released in November, and dropped out of Spotify’s top 200 after two days.

“It kind of pokes fun at myself. It’s not about anybody,” Cheryl explained on the Graham Norton Show, responding to rumours that the track referred to her relationship with ex-boyfriend Liam Payne.
