Cheryl has been overwhelmed by dating offers from fans after revealing that she’d be happy to go out with someone who worked in a supermarket.
The singer said that she would “100 per cent date a shelf-stacker from Sainsbury’s” as “what you do doesn’t define you as a human being” in a recent interview with MailOnline.
Since then, her social media accounts have been flooded with tongue-in-cheek messages from potential suitors as they attempt to land a date with the star.
“I’m a Sainsbury’s shelf stacker,” one Instagram follower wrote on her most recent post, adding some winking emojis.
“Always looking great Cheryl,” another added, before suggesting: “If you fancy going for a coffee let me know. Especially up in Scotland as it gets away from the hustle & bustle of London.”
“Sainsbury’s shelf stacker right here,” another volunteered.
On Twitter, another fan suggested that the supermarket would now be inundated with job applications, writing: “I wonder how many people are now filling out applications for Sainsbury’s to be a shelf stacker? They are gonna be inundated and it’s all your fault @CherylOfficial.”
In the interview, the singer revealed that she hadn’t “given up on love,” but she had paused [her] relationship goals” for the time being.
“I have no plans to meet anybody any time soon,” she clarified.
Cheryl also described her relationship with ex-boyfriend Liam Payne, with whom she shares two-year-old son Bear, as “good and healthy,” telling the paper: “There’s no animosity whatsoever. We are learning all the time.”
