Cheryl 'in the perfect place' for baby number two after having time to focus on the future

An insider close to Cheryl has revealed that the Geordie star is in 'the perfect place' for another baby after lockdown gave her the perfect opportunity to think about the future.

The former Girls Aloud star has son Bear, 3, with ex Liam Payne, with her and the toddler spending months together in their home and Liam admitting he'd had a 'difficult lockdown' after they'd decided against him making regular visits.

Cheryl, 37, has been the subject of rumours linking her to the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, firstly as a contestant, but then as judge after it was revealed that Bruno Tonioli may struggle to be part of the BBC show due to coronavirus-prompted travel restrictions and needing to be in America to film US version Dancing with the Stars.

But, a source has told Heat magazine, that while Strictly is 'on the radar', Cheryl has had time she needed to think about the future and is said to be 'determined' to have another child.

They said: “Knowing that Strictly is on the radar for September has meant she’s completely taken the time off before then to relax with Bear and just be a mum.

"She’s really been thriving during this ‘new normal’ and she thinks it’s the universe’s way of telling us to reflect and slow down.

"She’s totally dialled down her life and her diary, which means she’s really in a perfect place right now for baby number two.”

Earlier this year, Fight for this Love singer Cheryl spoke about the possibility of finding a sperm donor for another child, telling the Times magazine: "You can get it from abroad.

"Do you imagine some guy from Newcastle saying, 'That's my child!?' There's a lot to choose from and a lot to think about."
