Cheryl was left in hysterics after her 3 Words music video was edited and used as a coronavirus warning amid the nationwide lockdown.
The pop star, 36, was cheered up by fans who shared the clip while she's stuck at home during isolation.
BBC News reporter Daniel Rosney shared a video snippet from Cheryl's 2009 hit 3 Words - but with added sound bites from Chief Medical Advisor Chris Whitty.
The Geordie singer belts out the lyrics: "It was those 3 words that saved my life" as an inset of Whitty pops up and adds: "Stay at home."

The song continued as the brunette beauty sang: "It wasn't complicated, wasn't premeditated. It wasn't under-rated, boy I'm so glad you stayed in."
After which, another public service announcement telling Brits to stay home was heard.
The video instantly became a hit on Twitter, and Cheryl made it more funny by letting everyone know she was in on the joke.

Retweeting the clip with her 5.9 million followers, she couldn't help but post a laughing and crying emoji alongside the video.
The video added a nice bit of light to Cheryl's situation at home, after she was recently left in tears after cancelling her son Bear's birthday party due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The singer, 36, had been due to host a lavish bash for family and friends last month to celebrate her little boy's third birthday.

However, she made the difficult decision to cancel the party after the government urged Brits to start social distancing.
She posted a cheerful message on social media telling fans she made sure her little boy still got spoilt on his big day even though the bash couldn't go ahead.
Cheryl thanked everyone for their well wishes and she said her son, whose dad is her ex Liam Payne, had enjoyed "lots of cake and toys" instead.

She said: "So I just brought myself out of the Frozen 2 on-repeat-all-day-all-night room to come and say thank you to everybody that's sending Bear happy birthday wishes.
"He's three today. Obviously no party, but it doesn't matter. He's still having fun. Lots of cake, lots of toys, he doesn't really know the difference."
