Singer Cheryl left fans reeling on The Greater Dancer when she made a startling admission.
The 36-year-old pop star racked up the hits as a member of Girls Aloud, one of the biggest selling girl groups of all time, and she went on to have five number one UK singles as a solo artist.
But Cheryl rattled viewers by admitting she had never heard of the show Glee.
Hitmaker Cheryl, 36, may well have been hoping for a Parachute when she let slip that she had never seen the hit singing show.
The American comedy drama, centred on an award-winning high school show choir, wa a global hit when it ran from 2009 to 2015 and it starred her fellow dance captain on The Greatest Dancer Matthew Morrison.
Broadway star Matthew, who is starring in his second series of the BBC One dance contest with Cheryl, played Glee club coach William Schuester who was also known as Mr Schue.
When an audience member shouted out "Yes Mr Schue!" a confused Cheryl asked him: "Mr Schue as in shoe on the foot?"
And the actor, singer and dancer replied: "No, as in Mr Shuester."
When their fellow judge Todrick Hall asked her "you haven't seen the hit show Glee?" she admitted that she hadn't.
"I'm going to watch it though," she said.
Cheryl then changed the subject by asking choreographer Todrick if he had heard of Girls Aloud, which he had.
But when he struggled to name the other members of the girl band, he said: "I think the next act is about to come out right now."
"Cannot believe Cheryl has never seen Glee! Not acceptable," said one viewer on Twitter.
"Cheryl needs to see Glee," said another.
"LOL at Cheryl not seeing Glee before," said another viewer.
"Cheryl hasn't watched Glee," commented another.
