Cheryl FINALLY reveals if a Girls Aloud reunion is on the cards

Girls Aloud fans prepare to be disappointed – Cheryl has shut down hope of a reunion.

The Crazy Stupid Love singer, who this week made her musical comeback, revealed the pop group won't be reforming “anytime soon”.

Speaking to Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast, she said: “We reformed before and I think there is a limited amount of time that you can reform.

“Honestly we had so much fun. You never know, you can never say never, but I don’t think so right now. Who knows?”

Despite a full reunion not being on the agenda, Cheryl revealed she collaborated with former bandmate Nicola Roberts on her new single, Love Made Me Do It.

Cheryl said: “I did it with Nicola Roberts and Miranda Cooper and John Shave [who] I’ve worked with previously in Girls Aloud days.

“So it was like very much a family feeling there because all of us have really long relationships people can say stuff that I won’t be offended at because they’ve got the knowledge and the right to say it!”

The 35-year-old dropped her hotly anticipated single at one minute past midnight on Friday, ending a lengthy four year hiatus.

She previously shut down rumours the track is about Liam Payne, who she split from in July, insisting it “isn’t about anybody”. But she appears to make a dig at ex-husbands Ashley Cole and Jean-Bernard Versini as she sings about being a “bad girl” at times but always a “good wife”.

The new track sees the mother-of-one sing about being a “sucker” for falling in love with every “f*****”.

She said she’s “fallen hard a million times” and that when it comes to past romances she “should have used my head cause my heart really blew it”.

The Fight For This Love singer also revealed she has seen “s*** that would make your head explode” and hinted that friends have warned her that her decisions about love are “bad for [her] health”.

Cheryl, Roberts, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh formed Girls Aloud in 2002 on ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals. They went on hiatus in 2009 before a brief revival in 2012.

Cheryl was speaking to Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay. Tune into Capital Breakfast, weekdays from 6am – 10am and Saturdays from 6am – 9am.
