He captioned the snap: “Sensational performance last night. So lovely and down to earth, thanks for the chat.”

Speaking ahead of her recent appearance on his radio show, Jones said: “I've always thought I'd get a chance to interview her.”

The host supposedly hailed the host his “crush” back in 2009, supposedly telling Now that he fancied her from her Popstars: The Rivals days.

However, fans may be left disappointed to know Jones revealed he is is already taken.

He told Closer Magazine: “I'm kind of dating a normal girl now, though she's not normal to me.

'The joke is, I've been rumoured to be seeing Amanda Byram and Susie Amy-some of my closest friends.

“I actually dated a really well-known LA actress, but no one knew about it, we were seeing each other for five months and she's a massive star.”

The calls come after fans were left convinced Cheryl shared “chemistry” with Creed star Michael B Jordan, after they appeared on the Graham Norton Show together.
