Cheryl comforted as she's left in tears over adorable duo on The Greatest Dancer

The Greatest Dancer aired sweet scenes on Saturday night, as a young duo left everyone moved with their peformance.

Captain Cheryl was left in tears, unable to hide her emotions as the dance came to an end.

She wasn't alone, with little Lily and Joseph also breaking down when their routine finished.

They gained enough votes from the studio audience for the mirror to open, inviting them onto the stage.

Lily, 10, and Charlie, 8, performed a contemporary routine to Rise Up by Andra Day.

The show sees the dancers performing in a room, and it's up to those behind the mirror to press their buzzer and open it, so that the act can make it through to the next round.

On this occasion, the crowd fell in love with the little ones and were very quick to turn their lights on.

Lily and Joseph continued in front of the audience and the captains, before bursting into tears as they finished.

"There is obviously a connection between you but you're like two years old.

"You're incredible, and you should be really, really proud of yourselves."

Todrick then wiped Cheryl's eyes, before giving her a supportive hug.

He joked: "You do have a heart after all. I love it, you're so cute."

The Greatest Dancer airs Saturdays at 9pm on BBC One.
