Cheryl Cole has explained to her loyal fans why she has "taken a break" in recent months.
The singer, 38, launched a BBC podcast - You, Me and R&B - earlier this year, with listeners able to hear Cheryl share stories from her youth and love for R&B music.
At the time of its release the BBC said the "nostalgic R&B tunes chosen by Cheryl soundtrack some of her most prominent memories as she journeys through heartbreak, love and the songs that healed her soul".

But the show ended abruptly after a few episodes, and is no longer available online.
Addressing her many followers, Cheryl explained her absence in a post on her Instagram story.
The former Girls Aloud member said: "Hi. I hope you're all doing great!
"I've seen some of your messages asking about the podcast with BBC Sounds and I wanted to let you know that I decided not to record the last few episodes.
"It was meant to be recorded around the same time as Sarah's passing. I took a break from everything then including the series and it just didn't feel right to revisit it again."
Cheryl's former bandmate Sarah died in September of this year, aged just 39.
In a statement on the singer's Instagram page, her mum Marie said her death after a battle with breast cancer had caused "deep heartbreak."

At the time, Cheryl wrote on Instagram: "Although we knew this day would arrive I am somehow still feeling at a loss for words that our stunning, unique, crazy, quirky, kind and soft-hearted girl has departed.
"I love you Sarah... farewell."
The star has today (Friday) thanked her fans for their support, adding to her Instagram story: "I hope you understand and thank you again for all of your love and support these past couple of months.
"Cheryl x".
