Cheryl admits she is happy single and she's learning to be fine without anybody

Cheryl revealed she was happy being single as she wore her heart on her sleeve for the world to see.

As she made her return to social media in recent days, she has stepped firmly back into the spotlight once again with a new interview after shying away from the cameras in the past year.

Excitement has been buzzing around her comeback to the showbiz world.

Speaking out in a new interview, Cheryl shed some light on embracing single life.

The Fight For This Love hitmaker, 37, has been publicly single since she split from her newly-single ex Liam Payne who is the father of her son Bear.

In fact, the songstress said she was learning to be "absolutely fine without anybody" and being "just me by myself".

She told Glamour magazine : "Who or what can I not live without? I am learning that I can be absolutely fine without anybody, just me by myself. I'm learning to be happy just with me."

Admittedly Cheryl said she has learnt to rely on herself for advice and have her own back.

She added: "Who do I turn to for advice? I'm learning to turn to myself for advice. It's all in the process."

During the coronavirus pandemic, the singer has been keeping a low-profile on her Instagram account which has 3.5million followers.

For Cheryl, taking a break from social media has been "really, really healthy" for her mental health.

She told the glossy mag: "The best thing that I've learned in the past year is having a break from social media is really, really healthy for your mind."

Her dazzling world completely revolves around her son Bear.

She juggles her high-flying showbiz career with her most important job - being a mum to her little boy.

Earlier this year, her ex Liam - who recently split from his fiancée Maya Henry - gave a rare insight into his co-parenting relationship with Cheryl.

Their romantic relationship ended in July 2018 but the exes have remained amicably raising their son.

He told the magazine: "Fantastic. I mean, Cheryl is literally the best person to co-parent with. No stress involved."

It comes just after Liam told the world of his split from Maya, saying he was more disappointed in himself for hurting people.

Making a promise, the Bedroom Floor hitmaker said he has to work on himself before getting into another relationship.

He told Diary of a CEO podcast : “I feel like, more than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself (that) I keep on hurting people. That annoys me.

“I’ve just not been very good at relationships and I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point.

“I’m just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else.”
