Cheryl admits she has the hots for Michael B Jordan as ex Liam Payne ‘dates’ Naomi Campbell

Cheryl has admitted that she has her eye on Black Panther star Michael B Jordan, two months after the pair sent the Internet into overdrive when fans picked up on “sexual tension” between the pair on The Graham Norton Show.

The Greatest Dancer judge confessed that she’d like to practice one of the most passionate dance styles with the 31-year-old actor.

When asked which star she’d “dance the salsa with,” she told Glamour: “Michael B Jordan… I’d rather Rumba. And I don’t think I need to elaborate on that.”

Originating in Cuba, rumba is a Latin American partnered dance that’s often nicknamed ‘the dance of love.’

The singer’s fans became convinced of “chemistry” between the famous pair when they were guests on Norton’s BBC chat show in December.

Discussing her musical comeback with the host, Cheryl became flustered when Jordan interjected, and looked knowingly at the studio audience, prompting both stars to burst into laughter.

The singer’s fans immediately took the short exchange as proof that the chat show guests would make a good couple, claiming to have noticed “sexual tension” between them.

Cheryl then alluded to the speculation in an interview at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball shortly after, promising presenter Vick Hope that “nothing’s happening,” before cryptically adding “yet.”

Her confession comes as reports suggest that ex-boyfriend Liam Payne has been 'dating' supermodel Naomi Campbell “for two months.”

The pair were spotted partying in Ghana over the New Year and were then photographed leaving a Davido concert together last month.

A source told The Sun that Payne is “head over heels” for the model.

Cheryl has previously revealed that she would be “open” to dating someone who doesn’t work in the entertainment industry, suggested that she’d be happy to go out with “a shelf-stacker from Sainsbury’s” because “what you do doesn’t define you as a human being.”

“It doesn’t matter what they do, so long as he was a good guy and treated me right. I honestly wouldn’t care,” she told The Sun.

Her comments prompted a slew of tongue-in-cheek messages from potential suitors on her social media accounts, as fans suggested that the supermarket would now be “inundated” with job applications.

The Greatest Dancer airs on BBC One on Saturdays at 7.35pm.
