A busker who was given a glowing review by pop icon Cher has met the superstar in person following her huge Glasgow show.
Esosa Max-Who's stunning rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Have Nothing' was shared by the global star to her 3.7 million Twitter followers on Sunday night.
Cher said: "Some are touched – music runs through us. But when you stand in the street and sing your heart out into the nite, you're more than special."
23-year-old Esosa earlier spoke to Glasgow Live about her amazement at seeing the tribute by one of music's most loved divas.
She said: "I saw it this morning. I still can't believe it. I'm so shocked!"
Esosa added: "This helps me a lot. I am not a very confident person and I don't believe in my voice that much. I wasn't expecting it but it has really made my day.
"I never would have thought this would happen!"
But it wasn't the end of the excitement for the Glasgow University student, who was given VIP tickets to the SSE Hydro concert last night - and even got the chance to meet Cher herself backstage, sharing the special moment on Instagram.
We don't have a crystal ball, but we reckon this won't be the last you'll hear of Esosa. With a voice like that - and with a stamp of approval from Cher of all people - we're sure it won't be long until she hits superstar heights herself!
