CHENNAI: Two men attacked and tore the uniform of a police constable at Kotturpuram when he visited a house to attend to a distress call.
The police nabbed the duo identified as Premkumar alias Dolu, 30, and Prabhakaran, 27, and sent them to jail.
Constable Satishkumar, who suffered minor injuries, was admitted at a government hospital. A woman informed the cop that her inebriated husband was beating her up. When he went to her house, her husband and his friend attacked him.
