Chennai races for Nov. 4 and 5 cancelled

Due to incessant rains rendering the race track not conducive for racing, the stewards of the Madras Race Club have decided to cancel the races scheduled to be held on Saturday (Nov. 4) and Sunday (Nov. 5).

The Deepak Khaitan Memorial Guindy Gold Cup (Gr. III) has now been postponed to Nov. 11 (Saturday) with the same acceptors but the declaration would be new, according to a press release from the club.
