CHENNAI: Six men on three motorbikes robbed a mobile showroom staff of 1.2 lakh and five mobile phones at Koyambedu flyover when he was returning home on Monday night. The complainant, Rahim, runs a shop in Burma Bazaar.
He was intercepted by six men on bikes at the Koyambedu flyover. Two pillion riders threatened him at knifepoint and relieved him of five phones and the cash. As the incident happened around 11 pm, there was no one to help him. Rahim went to the Arumbakkam police station and filed a complaint. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
