CHENNAI: Nearly four months after G Rajagopalan, a teacher of PSBB, was arrested under Pocso Act based on sexual harassment complaints from students and alumni, the city police filed a chargesheet on Sunday.
Sources said that the chargesheet containing not less than 300 pages has statements of the victims who were allegedly abused by the teacher during his career. The chargesheet also contains screenshots of messages and images that Rajagopalan sent in online classes. The statements from 17 witnesses and other evidence have also been included.
Since the victims involved in the case were minors, police officials said that they cannot reveal more as their identity has to be protected.
On May 25, the Ashok Nagar All Women Police had arrested Rajagopalan for sexual harassment. He was brought to a magistrate who remanded him in judicial custody.
