MIAMI _ They don't hand out a Cy Young for best home pitching, but if they did, Wei-Yin Chen would be the runaway winner.
On Friday night, the lefty pitched seven scoreless innings, while rookie Isaac Galloway delivered a 10th inning walk-off double to lead the Marlins to a 1-0 win over the Reds.
The game was scoreless entering the 10th, but Brian Anderson doubled to kick off the rally and Galloway blasted the game-winning hit to right to give Miami the extra-inning win.
Chen scattered three hits and no walks, while striking out eight. The 33-year-old lowered his home ERA from 1.77 to 1.62, shooting him past Mets ace Jacob deGrom (1.66) to jump atop the NL leaderboard. Chen has allowed just 14 earned runs in 78 innings at Marlins Park this season.
His home dominance stands in stark contrast to his performance on the road, where he's posted a 9.29 ERA in 12 starts away from South Florida. The 7.52 difference between home/road starts is the largest differential for any MLB pitcher since Houston's Dallas Keuchel recorded an 8.15 gap in 2012.
On Friday, Chen outdueled Cincinnati starter Luis Castillo, who also posted a gem. The right-hander pitched 81/3 scoreless innings, allowing five hits, while striking out eight.
