The Champion Hurdle is the feature race on day one of the Cheltenham Festival and it looks set to be an absolute cracker.
Owner JP McManus is aiming to win the race for a fifth consecutive year and his tenth time in total. His sole runner is Epatante as she aims to repeat her win from 12 months ago.
But it is another mare who has been at the top of the market for the past few weeks in Honeysuckle.
Henry de Bromhead's seven-year-old won the Mares' Hurdle at last year's festival and has also won the last two runnings of the Irish Champion Hurdle.
The Waterford trainer has a very strong hand for this two mile contest, with Aspire Tower and Jason The Militant also fancied.
Goshen is another of England's main hopes and it would be a great story if he could land this race after what happened in the Triumph last year.
Willie Mullins runs last year's runner-up Sharjah, Saldier and James du Berlais.
