Outsider Put The Kettle On sprang a surprise at Cheltenham once again to down better fancied rivals in the Racing Post Arkle Chase.
One of just two mares in the field, she had not raced since November, when she won over course and distance as the outsider.
Again relatively unfancied on her return to Prestbury Park 114 days later, she jumped boldly and battled on tenaciously to deny well-supported opponent Fakir D'Oudairies.
John Dermody, who heads the 'One For Luck Racing Syndicate,' said: "She was the outsider the last day and to come here and win again today, it's fantastic.
"We came here in hope rather than confidence but Henry (de Bromhead, trainer) said she was well worth her place in the line-up.
"She had won over course and distance and beaten a couple that were in the field.
"There's 30 or 40 of us here today to support her.
"She's brave and a fighter.
"Just to have a runner here is amazing. This is a fairytale."
The mare's Cheltenham Festival success came during a season she began in May 2019- and won four races between then and September.
She improved out of all recognition on her hurdles form and jockey Aidan Coleman said: "She's a good mare - I turned off the bend and gave her a kick down to the second last and she absolutely lifted into the middle of it and I thought 'brilliant, we're away now'.
"Then I was just praying. If she'd have got beat she'd have been very unlucky, but she's a very good mare.
"It's her jumping - it is a joy to behold. She's just brilliant."
