Cheltenham day 2 tips - Paddy Power's 'best bets', tip of the day and a 'huge treble'

Day one of the Cheltenham Festival belonged to the punters after sensational performances from favourites Appreciate It, Shiskin and Honeysuckle.

The only saving grace for bookies was when Black Tears nudged in front of Concertista at the line - with Paddy Power facing an eight-figure pay out if Denise 'Sneezy' Foster's mare hadn't reeled in the favourite.

And Day Two looks another good one for racing fans as a mouthwatering treble of hot favourites line up.

Monkfish (4/11), Chacun Pour Soi (4/5) and Easysland (5/6) are all expected to cross first in the Brown Advisory Chase, the Queen Mother Champion Chase and teh Cross Country respectively.

Combining those three in a bet will give you tasty odds of 7/2 with Paddy Power.

Elsewhere, the opening race, the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle has seen a lot of money laid on Bob Olinger and Rachael Blackmore after the latter's success in the Champion Hurdle on Day One.

The odds have been slashed by Paddy Power from 13/8 to 11/8.

Spokesperson Paddy Power said; "Punters had the edge on day one thanks to a trio of favourites and I fear it could be the same today. If Monkfish, Chacun and Easysland win I'll be the one having to hand out pots of gold on Paddy's Day."

Best Bets of Day Two - the experts picks.

Champion jockey Ruby Walsh: " Monkfish is a short price, but a winner is a winner. He's been rock solid in his three chase starts this season and won the Albert Bartlett 12 months ago. He can follow up and win his second Festival race."

Former jockey Nina Carberry: " Monkfish has been unstoppable all season and is easy one of the best novices we've seen going forward. He will be very hard to beat."

Trainer Tony Mullins: " Monkfish has obliterated everything in front of him every time and should do so again in the 1.55pm. He is a class above the rest."

ITV Racing's Mick Fitzgerald: " Bob Olinger won a big race in Naas for Henry De Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore and some of his form is very smart. I don't think we've seen the best of him yet and I really like him for the Ballymore"

ITV Racing's Matt Chapman: " Chacun Pour Soi will show us he is the true champion in the 3.05pm"
