
Huge outsider Croco Bay defied odds of 66-1 to land the Grand Annual in the penultimate race of the Cheltenham Festival.
The 12-year-old made much of the running under Kielan Woods and held off the challenge of Bun Doran up the hill to give Ben Case a Cheltenham winner.
Brelan D’As ran well for Byrony Frost in third, with Forest Bihan in fourth at 33/1, as the well-fancied duo of Magic Saint and Not Another Muddle disappointed.
It was a day of surprise winners, after 50-1 shot Minella Indo won the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle, 20/1 Pentland Hills the Triumph Hurdle, and Al Boum Photo the Gold Cup.
