Chelsea yet to make contact with Jadon Sancho as Barcelona, Liverpool and Man Utd eye transfer

Jadon Sancho looks set to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer with the winger feeling 'humiliated', according to reports.

The England international was dropped and fined by the Bundesliga club for returning late from international duty, and the winger was also publicly criticised by sporting director Michael Zorc and manager Lucien Favre.

After Dortmund's 4-0 defeat at Bayern Munich a fortnight ago, Sancho was substituted in the first half with Favre admitting the former Manchester City star's performance was “not good enough”.

Speaking during the recent international break, England boss Gareth Southgate says he spoke to Sancho about the situation.

“I know everything, yeah. He came to me at the beginning of the week and we had 25 minutes chatting about everything, really.

“We have a duty of care to him, almost, to help him to progress and to develop and as much as we can.

"We have a good link with Dortmund, I have to say, with the coaching staff there and the physical preparation department there.

“So, we’re in constant communication with them and we have a very good picture of everything.

“It’s an enormous challenge that he’s taken on to go to another country. There’s the football but he’s [also] adapting to life and the language and everything else.

“So, he’s done incredibly well and it’s inevitable that, at some stages, there are going to be games where he’s maybe not as effective but he still has a high level of assists, a high level of goals. He’s a great talent and part of our job is to help him to succeed.”

According to The Athletic, the sequence of events has left Sancho feeling 'humiliated', 'scapegoated' and 'unprotected', which could see him leave Germany in the summer transfer window.

The report claim Dortmund are aware of the interest in Sancho, and plan to discuss the midfielder's future with his representatives.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Manchester United among the clubs linked.

But Frank Lampard's side are yet to make contact despite the Blues' interest.

Barcelona, Liverpool and Real Madrid are also among the interested clubs, while Manchester City have asked to be kept informed.

The teenager continued his strong start to the season by scoring and assisting in Dortmund's 3-3 draw with Paderborn on Friday, which at one point saw the basement dwellers lead 3-0.

Sancho broke onto the scene last term for the German outfit, scoring 12 goals and assisting 14 in the Bundesliga.
