Chelsea XI vs West Ham: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injuries for Premier League clash

There was relief that Tammy Abraham’s hip injury was not as serious as first feared but he remains a doubt for Saturday’s visit of West Ham.

Michy Batshuayi will be primed to replace the 22-year-old should he miss out while the intensity of Wednesday’s Champions League draw at Valencia may prompt one or two other changes.

Mateo Kovacic scored his first goal for the club but looked exhausted at the Mestalla and with Ross Barkley a doubt due to an ankle problem, Mason Mount could be drafted in.

Andreas Christensen appeared rusty on his first appearance back following two months out and so Fikayo Tomori may earn a recall.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is another pushing for inclusion but the form of Willian and Christian Pulisic make it a tough call for head coach Frank Lampard.

Predicted Chelsea XI (4-3-3): Kepa, James, Tomori, Zouma, Azpilicueta; Kante, Jorginho, Mount; Willian, Batshuayi, Pulisic.
