Chelsea XI vs Nottingham Forest: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injuries for FA Cup clash

Frank Lampard is expected to make changes to his team as Chelsea welcome Nottingham Forest to Stamford Bridge in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

Willy Caballero is due to start in goal, while Reece James is likely to get another chance to shine at right-back.

The two central defenders should be rotated too, with Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori likely to be paired together. Emerson Palmieri is expected to start at left-back.

In midfield there could be a rare start for Ross Barkley, who has not played since October and is eager for minutes.

Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic should give the midfield a more familiar look, but the likes of youngsters Billy Gilmour are pushing to start instead.

In attack Callum Hudson-Odoi and Pedro will hope to secure starts out wide and Michy Batshuayi should lead the line so that Tammy Abraham can have a well-earned rest.
