Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is able to bring N'Golo Kante back to face Newcastle United today.
The France midfielder missed last weekend’s win over Burnley as a precaution and was assessed before the Blues travel to Tyneside, but Kante starts.
Christian Pulisic revealed earlier this week he is still at least a fortnight away from returning to action following an adductor injury while Marcus Alonso has been struggling with a thigh problem for almost a month.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek is continuing his rehabilitation from an Achilles tendon injury, and is training with the club's Under-16s team.
