
Frank Lampard will assess his Chelsea squad for injuries this week before determining who is available to face Manchester City at Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.
Ross Barkley missed England’s Euro 2020 wins over Montenegro and Kosovo due to an ankle injury but the Blues are hopeful the midfielder will be fit in time to face City.
Christian Pulisic also missed international duty with the United States after being substituted with ten minutes remaining of Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on November 9 with a hip problem.
The 21-year-old was in fine form prior – scoring for the third Premier League match in a row against Palace – and will surely start if fully fit.
Jorginho is available again after serving a one-match suspension against Palace for picking up five yellow cards this season.
Antonio Rudiger continues his rehabilitation from a groin problem and is not due back until next month while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also unavailable with a long-term Achilles injury.
