Chelsea XI vs Leicester: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, latest injuries for FA Cup quarter-final

Tammy Abraham has been handed his first start since the restart as Chelsea travel to Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-finals this afternoon.

Olivier Giroud had been given the nod for Chelsea’s first two games, but Abraham made an impact off the bench against Manchester City and leads the line at the King Power Stadium.

With Chelsea facing their third game in six days, Frank Lampard has freshened things up from the side that beat City so impressively on Thursday.

Reece James comes in at right-back, while Willy Caballero is in goal. Young midfielder Billy Gilmour had a starring role against Liverpool in the last round and gets the nod here.

Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger were Lampard’s preferred centre-back partnership against Aston Villa and Manchester City, but Kurt Zouma comes in for the injured Christensen.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel; Chilwell, Evans, Soyuncu, Justin; Ndidi, Praet, Tielemans; Perez, Barnes, Vardy.

Subs: Ward, Morgan, Bennett, Fuchs, Choudhury, Mendy, Gray, Albrighton, Iheanacho

Chelsea XI: Caballero, James, Rudiger, Zouma, Emerson, Kante, Gilmour, Willian, Mount Pulisic, Abraham

Subs: Kepa, Alonso, Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Kovacic, Pedro, Giroud
